The McAllen Chamber of Commerce presents the 14th Annual McAllen Food Festival!
Come savor the fine cuisine from some of the best McAllen metro area restaurants.
Taste the delicious entrees from restaurants and caterers in a fun family friendly event .
Every year, the event hosts over thirty restaurants serving sample portions of main course items such as sushi, prime rib, Shrimp, pasta, BBQ ribs, coffee, desserts and much more.
A panel of Radio and TV personalities will blind sample the participating restaurants entrees and will select the recipients of the Best of Show Award in the two different participating categories.
The public attending the event will also have the opportunity to participate in voting for their favorite restaurant for the coveted “People’s Choice Award”.
Every year, a theme is chosen to decorate the exhibitors’ booths and create a fun environment. This year the theme will be based in the “Fabulous Fifties”, and visitors can expect related décor and a live music by TR3N.
The McAllen Food Festival committee invites attendees to participate in a 50’s costume contest and jitterbug dance contest that will take place during the food festival
